The film presents the life and times of historian, activist and author of the best-selling classic "A People's History of the United States." Professor Zinn profoundly influenced many of us in the peace and justice movement through his example as well as through his writings. Sadly, Professor Zinn has just died at age 87 on January 27 in California. We come together to honor his life by watching his film. We invite all who attend to bring
a passage from his books that was most memorable and meaningful and read it to the group. To further
honor the spirit of Professor Zinn, we will give away a copy of his classic People's History.
I'm sure all those whose lives have been influenced by Howard Zinn will want to be present at this Waco event commemorating the passing of Dr. Zinn. And those who are not familiar with his work will want to come to learn from his life and scholarship.
Please join us in honoring Professor Zinn and in supporting a forum of free and open speech and progressive thought in Central Texas.

REVIEWS:
